Synshorn
The trip to Synshorn Mountain is a fairly easy hike and the peak is at 1475m above sea level. Again you will have a great view of the area. You can take a bus or your car to Bygdin. From here you can follow the track which is easy to spot although not marked, from Fagerstrand and straight up past Halisstolen.

The trip to the top takes 1.5 to 1 hour. Beautiful views northwest to Jotunheimen, East to Raslet Mountain and southeast to Heimdalen and Oystre Slidre.

Usually you take the same way up as down but you can combine the trip with a walk north among the Fagerdals mountains and back following a T- marked track along the idyllic lake of Himre Fagersalstjednet . follow this back to Bygdin either directly or via Bydisheim. This extra trip takes approximately 2-3hours depending on how many rests you make.

Bring a map and compass as this track is not marked.
